These works emerge from a world increasingly shaped by fear, spectacle, and indifference. We are told to accept cruelty as policy, surveillance as safety, and inequality as inevitability. Human beings are sorted into categories of value while power protects itself through violence, distraction, and manufactured division. My figures—mannequins, dolls, fractured bodies, and abandoned toys—stand in for all those rendered voiceless within systems that prize control over compassion.

I believe art must resist numbness. It must bear witness to suffering while preserving the possibility of empathy. The decay within these images reflects political, social, and spiritual erosion, but also the persistence of memory and humanity beneath it. These works ask viewers not to look away from injustice, displacement, or oppression, but to recognize themselves within the fragile figures before them. In a culture that increasingly dehumanizes, I see the act of witnessing as both resistance and responsibility.

A social democratic platform advocates for a democratically controlled economy that benefits the majority, emphasizing social ownership, strong social safety nets, and reduced economic inequality through government intervention. Key policies include Medicare for All or universal healthcare, college for all, and programs to support working-class communities, strengthen unions, and address climate change. This approach seeks to reform capitalism rather than abolish it, focusing on balancing economic efficiency with social justice and equality.
