This work portrays Dīv — meaning “devil” or “demon” — as a symbolic and exaggerated reflection of human nature. These figures belong to the hidden layers of the contemporary human psyche, where fear, violence, anxiety, desire, and emotional collapse emerge through distorted and restless faces. Suspended between the human and the non-human, these forms reveal the concealed wounds and tensions carried within modern existence.

‏Inspired by the mythological concept of the Dīv and reimagined within a contemporary context, the work explores the psychological condition of humanity in today’s unstable world. The exaggerated and deformed figure reflects a mind shaped by fear, crisis, politics, and emotional instability — gradually losing its sense of peace and identity. The demon within the work is not an external creature, but a manifestation of the suppressed, contradictory, and wounded aspects of human existence.
