Zeni Ballazhi bases his interest in art on different experiences of contemporary art such as: painting, combined techniques, design, print, readymade, installation, video... and the presentation of all new multimedia techniques of visual art. In this sphere of research the new cultural and artistic heritage have been included, advanced in contemporary, modern creation and visual technique, i.e. in a new level of discussion on conceptual art today.

The various media of expression are just his tool for visualization of the conceptual ideas of self-reflection, whereas the visual motif in the conceptual discourse becomes meta-language or visual text. Conceptual art is reflectional and analytical to the society or to the system of art and is based on specific procedures in the creation of the artwork, while the artist with the presentation of visual language promotes his own views as general introspection.

Zeni Ballazhi with paraphrases and discourses of philosophy and contemporary art seeks new ways to present the phenomena of today and the reality. He uses art to open the problems in art and society, but also the artistic and social system that prevails in the region and the world. The personal stories and experiences that are actually stories and experiences of others, receive meta-visual expression.
